Operational Risk Manager

Our client, a leading Australian bank based in the Sydney CBD is looking to engage a Senior Operational Risk Manager for an initial 5 month contract within their retail banking arm.

This role will be centered around leading the risk in change stream for a regulatory change project and we are looking to engage someone from a strong financial service operational risk management background urgently to fill this requirement. 

The role will involve:

• Senior stakeholder management across all arms of the bank with respect to the regulatory changes
• Designing controls and leading the team undertaking the process design to ensure the bank has appropriate controls and processes in place
• Identify areas that are at risk of falling behind the compliance date and delivery milestones

You will have:

• Strong Financial Services operational risk experience
• Senior stakeholder management skills
• Excellent time management and multi tasking ability

Desirable:

• Any RG274 or product design experience highly regarded
