Former Salt director to lead Sanderson Australia
Former Salt technology director Jay Ryan-Zeman has been appointed country director for
Sanderson Australia, in a newly created role.
Ryan-Zeman, who previously held leadership roles at Randstad and Ashdown People, is tasked
with managing, leading and growing the Australian arm of the UK-headquartered Sanderson
Group, as part of its global expansion.
In 2019 Sanderson invested in IT recruiter IKas International, whose Australian operation went
into voluntary administration and proposed a deed of company arrangement to clear nearly $1
million in debts. It has recently re-branded to coincide with the expansion of its local service
"I am thrilled with this new position," Ryan-Zeman tells Shortlist. "Sanderson has an excellent service offering across multiple areas of talent and staffing, including solutions, talent on demand and project work." Launching in Sydney, he says the company is keen to bring the service offerings from the wider group to the Australian market.
"Sanderson has expertise across not only contingent recruitment but executive search, solutions and projects, which will no doubt be of interest to many of our contacts here in Sydney and further afield."
